Loan :: Undergraduate Students
Please familiarize yourself with the ILL Policies for Undergraduate Students below before making any interlibrary loan requests.
General ILL Policies for Undergraduate Students:

Undergraduate students in 200-level courses or above can now receive 10 free ILL requests per semester, with the approval of a librarian. Please see below.
- For all other undergraduates, there is $5 charge per request, payable when making the ILL request.

You are responsible for any materials checked out in your name.

Pick up of materials is located at the Circulation Desk. You must have your Carroll University ID to pick up your ILL materials. ID must match the ILL requester.

Fines will be charged for overdue ILL materials.

To request an ILL:

First check PioCat to verify TWML does not own the item.

When requesting an article, please check the Full Text Electronic Journal Holdings to verify the item is not available in full-text.

Please verify your citation. Be sure your citation is accurate and complete. Inaccurate and incomplete citations may be returned for more information. If you need assistance verifying a reference or determining a journal abbreviation, a Reference Librarian (262-650-4892) will be happy to assist you.

Complete the Contact Information web form if your address, phone number or email have changed. You only need to fill out this form once , until your information needs updating again.
- Complete the paper request form, available at the Reference Desk.
- To receive your request free, you must set up an appointment to meet with a librarian in that subject area. This librarian will assist you in locating helpful resources and verifying citations before making your ILL request. Please go to the Reference Desk for assistance.
