Our Food & Drink Policy Made Simple...

In order to protect materials, equipment and furnishings, the Todd Wehr Memorial Library has established a simple Food & Drink Policy:

• Food is not permitted in the Library outside of the Coffee Shop & Main Lobby.
• Beverages are permitted if in any covered or closed container.

If you violate the Library's Food & Drink Policy, you will be asked
to leave the Library. If anyone using a group study room
violates the policy, the entire group will be asked to leave.

You can purchase a spill-proof mug from the library for only $3.00 at the circulation desk.

This policy is adopted on a contingency basis and will continue so long as the library remains clean and attractive.  Problems such as damage from spills, excessive loose trash, emergence of pests, etc. will force reconsideration of this policy.

Examples:
Acceptable beverage containers: Starbucks cups, plastic bottles, glass bottles, sport cups, plastic water bottles, travel mugs. (Covers and caps must remain on when not in use.)
Unacceptable beverage containers:  Soda cans, milk cartons, coffee mugs without lids, cups without covers.
