Indexes peer-reviewed bio-science journals and bulletins published by American Institute of Biological Sciences member societies. Bio One provides citations and/or full text of articles from 1989 to the present.
- BasicBIOSIS
BasicBIOSIS indexes 500 journals in biology and medicine. Areas of coverage include biochemistry, biotechnology, biology, botany, clinical medicine, ecology, genetics, microbiology, pharmacology, veterinary medicine, and zoology. Coverage is 1988 to the present.
- JSTOR
JSTOR (Journal Storage) is a searchable full-text database of core scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences and science. Many of these titles date back to the 1800s. Current issues of several JSTOR titles are available in the library’s print collection.
- Science Direct
The ScienceDirect College Edition combines an authorative book collection with a scientific journal collection of over 2,000 titles. Health and Life Sciences Journal Collection contains >900 full-text peer reviewed journals. These journal and reference works are exclusive to ScienceDirect and not available anywhere else online.
- PsycINFO
This database indexes over 4400 publications, including 1700 journals in psychology and related fields, including information on the psychological and social aspects of human behavior, medicine, physical disorders, etc., from 1887 to present.
- PubMed
Is a service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 12 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.
- PubMed Central
The full-text depository for most open access journals in the medical field and bio-sciences
